Studio 54 Disco Ball Makeup Pat McGrath

The Mothership V Bronze Seduction Eyeshadow Palette has ten eyeshadows that have a variety of textures. The formulas are really good in terms of color payoff and ease of blending. Some apply better with fingers in a patting motion while others work better with a brush.

The shimmer options in the warm-toned palette are unparalleled. Light doesn't have to hit them just so to see them at their fullest, most shimmery potential - they twinkle like a disco ball at Studio 54 at every possible angle.

My favorites are Skin Show, Bronze Blaze and Gilty Pleasure. For the two glitters, I found patting them over the mattes with my fingers resulted in a super pretty bronzed eye look. The color Rose Gold 005 is a super sparkly rose pink that flashes copper sparkle - it’s also a nice top coat shadow. Blitz Flame surprised me as I’m not a red shadow wearer but when I layered it with any of the matte browns it transformed into a deeper almost plum bronze with a little bit of red.

The palette felt like a holiday party, even though it’s a fall launch, with the rich red, greenish duochrome, and intense sparkle in several shades. The finishes are definitely more impressive in person as they sparkle and dance with the light.
